My commitment

This statement covers my website personal-development-zone.com and my course platform at courses.personal-development-zone.com.

I aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. These are the international guidelines that help make websites easier to use for people with disabilities, and better for everyone.

Where things stand today

My website and course platform are partly conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. This means that most parts follow the guidelines, but some parts don’t fully yet.

I’m a one person business and I check things myself. I haven’t had an independent audit yet. So I’d rather tell you honestly than promise something I can’t guarantee.

What I do to make things easier

• Captions on every lesson. All lesson videos in my courses have captions that you can switch on or off, plus a written transcript you can read.
• Captions in my videos. The videos on my course and coaching pages have captions built right into the picture.
• Clear structure. Clear headings, simple language and short sentences, so pages are easy to follow and to navigate with a screen reader.
• Keyboard friendly. You can move through my newer pages and the course platform with a keyboard, and you can see where you are.
• Readable colors. I choose text and background colors with enough contrast.
• Pictures with descriptions. Pictures on my newer pages have a text description for screen readers.
• Calm movement. The course platform follows your device setting if you prefer less motion.
• Any screen. Everything works on a phone, a tablet and a computer, and you can zoom in.

The accessibility toolbar

On my website you’ll find a small accessibility button (OneTap). It lets you change things like text size, contrast and spacing, and it remembers your choice in your own browser.

It’s an extra help, not a replacement for good design. The toolbar alone does not make a website accessible, so I keep working on the pages themselves too.

What isn’t perfect yet

Here is what I know about. I’m working on it, step by step:

• Older blog posts. Some older articles have pictures without a description or videos without captions.
• PDF worksheets. Some PDFs may not be easy to read with a screen reader. Ask me and I’ll send you the text in another format.
• Tools from other companies. Payment (Stripe), booking (Calendly), WhatsApp and video calls are made by other companies. I can’t change how they work, but I’ll gladly help you another way if one of them doesn’t work for you.

Technical details

My website and course platform work best with a recent version of Chrome, Safari, Firefox or Edge, on a computer, a tablet or a phone. They are built to work with screen readers and with the zoom and text size settings of your device.

How I checked

This statement is based on my own review (a self evaluation) of my website and course platform in October 2026: keyboard use, zoom, color contrast, captions and an automatic accessibility check of my main pages. I review it at least once a year, and every time something big changes.
