How to be fascinating, 9 easy ways to do it!
1. Truly listen to others!
I know that this may sound too easy to do but you’re not going to believe how much impact it’s going to have!
Don’t listen just to reply.
Start listening without any intention to reply, just to understand the point of view of the other person.
Be 100% there. At the end of the day, everyone wants to be seen, heard, and understood.
I’m telling you, you’re going to be surprised how this technique will make you fascinating!
You’re going to show that you truly care about others, it’s magical.
Without saying anything but by just listening, people will find you fascinating and extraordinary! 🙂
2. Increase your curiosity and imagination by reading!
One great method to develop your curiosity is to read books.
It doesn’t matter if you’re more into fiction books or non-fiction books, simply read a few pages of a book every day.
This will open your mind a lot and you’ll learn something new every day, no matter what it will be about (a character or someone’s story).
You can then use what you read in any conversation too!

It’s not asking you too much and it can have huge benefits! It will help you be better at how to be more interesting to talk to.
3. Develop a new skill!
Is there something you always wanted to learn? Now is the time to do it!
It can be a new language, playing an instrument or a new sport, don’t postpone learning this skill and do it now!
You don’t have to do it for 30 minutes per day or to become an expert in the next month.
Start by doing it even just 2-3 minutes per day!
In a year from now, you’re going to ask yourself why you didn’t start earlier so, start right now! 🙂
When it comes to starting a new sport, it’s true that 2-3 minutes per day seem like not enough ;), but by even just looking at classes on the Internet, this will already be a great start!
This is just amazing when it comes to learning how to be a more interesting person and how to have a more interesting life.
4. Be your most authentic self!
If you know me, you know that authenticity is one of my most important values!

Don’t take yourself too seriously!

You don’t have to make jokes over jokes to be funny, just be light, know that you won’t anyway get out of life alive, take it lightly sometimes, laugh about yourself and be “good vibes only!” 🙂
This will make a difference when it comes to know how to become more interesting.
6. Open your mind by listening to various podcasts!
You can learn a lot and on different topics when you listen to podcasts.

7. Think of exceptional experiences to share!
We’ve all lived some experiences.
They don’t need to have something to do with extreme sports such as skydiving or bungee jumping to be extraordinary. They just need to be authentic!
Simply, think of experiences that are important to you and think of how you can summarize them into short stories.
And when it comes to storytelling, of course, to become more fascinating… You have to…
8. Master the art of storytelling!
There’s nothing more fascinating than someone who knows how to tell great stories! 🙂

What are good topics to talk about?
When it comes to being more fascinating, you can talk about topics such as…
- What work would one do if they didn’t need to work for money…
- What is their definition of an amazing day…
- What is a funny/great memory that they have…
- Who are the persons that they admire…
- What is one thing that they accomplished in their lives…
- What is one place that they really love to be…
- Who are the people that they love the most…
- What hobbies/activities do they really like to do…
- What movies can they watch again, again and again…
- And many more! 🙂
If you start with these questions, asking them and answering them yourself, you’ll be fascinating! 🙂
I can assure you of this!
And of course, don’t forget to listen carefully to the answers… Don’t jump right into giving your answers to these questions, just sit there and listen 100%! 🙂
You’re just going to be the best at how to be fascinating! And this will just help you be better at how to make a conversation more.
What’s a good conversation starter?
The topics shared above are already great conversation starters!
I think that the best way to start a conversation and to be fascinating is to ask (and share your answer!) to the question:
What do people like to do when they have free time?
I feel like this says way more about the person you’re talking with than what is their job or what they studied! 🙂
People may be surprised if you will ask them this question, but it’s the point of it, to be really interested in them and of course…
For you to look fascinating! 🙂 And also for you to show how to make yourself more interesting.
How do you connect to a deeper level?
When you are truly yourself (look at way #5 to be more fascinating!), you are authentic and this is how we can connect with one another on a deep level.
Some people may refer to it as being more vulnerable and they make it sound a big negative, something about the fact that we are ourselves without control, without protection.
But, I more see people connecting together when they are simply themselves, 100%.
Everybody is simply their authentic and genuine selves, sharing their point of view and their stories, without judgment or expectations from others.
You’re just being there, 100% yourself and the other person too.
This is how you can connect on a deep level! 🙂
To sum up!
As you can see, being more fascinating isn’t something that is hard to do.
Use the strategies that I shared above and you’ll be on your way to know and develop how to be fascinating.
Also, you’ll become interesting not only to the people around you but to yourself too!
And don’t forget that you are the first one that needs to give to yourself your approval! 😉
You don’t need anybody to love you as much as you have to love yourself! 🙂
Be more fascinating starting today!
